And so it Begins
Sep. 3rd, 2012 02:13 pmSince my laptop imploded last Tuesday, it's been a little rough. I've had use of a friend's, which has helped. Sadly, one of the main things I used my computer for wasn't available on the borrowed machine - World of Warcraft. And since my laptop died the day Patch 5.0.4 was released, I haven't even been able to check out all the cool new stuff!
As of this moment, my new computer (desktop, thank you) is all set up at home. I'm at my local Barnes & Noble, trying to download the WoW game client to my friend's laptop. With any luck, I'll then be able to transfer the files to the new computer.
The download isn't going quite as fast as I'd like, but it's a hell of a lot better than doing it at home, where everything over 5 GB costs me $10 per GB. I need to find a different internet service. But, that's an issue for another time.
Here's hoping I'll be playing tonight. Tomorrow at the latest. I miss my WoW.
