Huh?

When I read stuff like this, I firmly believe that this country has lost its collective mind.  theweek.com/article/flipbook/232568/sign-of-the-times

This is a THREE YEAR OLD CHILD.  How is this right?

Hunter's parents should not have to 'work on a compromise' with school officials.  The school officials need to get their heads out of their asses and realize just how stupid this really is.

And so it Begins

Since my laptop imploded last Tuesday, it's been a little rough.  I've had use of a friend's, which has helped.  Sadly, one of the main things I used my computer for wasn't available on the borrowed machine - World of Warcraft.  And since my laptop died the day Patch 5.0.4 was released, I haven't even been able to check out all the cool new stuff!

As of this moment, my new computer (desktop, thank you) is all set up at home.  I'm at my local Barnes & Noble, trying to download the WoW game client to my friend's laptop.  With any luck, I'll then be able to transfer the files to the new computer.

The download isn't going quite as fast as I'd like, but it's a hell of a lot better than doing it at home, where everything over 5 GB costs me $10 per GB.  I need to find a different internet service.  But, that's an issue for another time.

Here's hoping I'll be playing tonight.  Tomorrow at the latest.  I miss my WoW.

The Saga Continues

I gave up at Barnes & Noble, since it wasn't getting anywhere.  I decided to just eat the overage and download it at home.  But, it's still seems like it's not getting anywhere.  I know people were complaining on patch day about similar issues, so I'll just hold on to the hope that it'll finish someday.

At this rate, I may get to play by next Saturday.
